Paul John Whisky reveals travel retail-exclusive single cask expression at Kempegowda Airport

INDIA. John Distilleries' Paul John Whisky, in an exclusive partnership with Bengaluru Duty Free (a joint venture between Bangalore International Airport Limited and Avolta), has introduced its Single Cask Unpeated Madeira expression at Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru.

The travel retail-exclusive release, limited to 228 bottles, was added to shelves in Terminal 2 on 30 May. It is a non-age statement single cask whisky available at a recommended retail price of US$300.

The cask takes inspiration from Bengaluru and its packaging has been designed to showcase the vibrant spring blossoms of the 'Garden City'.

Unpeated Madeira, distilled in the tropical climes of Goa, features aromas of Christmas cake, dry plum and manuka honey. Orange zest, vanilla, dark chocolate and subtle hints of dry resin contribute to an oaky finish.
